West Michigan Building Aquatic Facility
Aquatic Champions & Fitness Inc will soon offer west Michigan's the first Olympic size (25 meter by 50 meter pool), with fixed seating of 2,800. The moveable bulkhead will allow for 4 pool sizes (25 yards, 25 meters, 50 yards, 50 meters). Aquatic Champions & Fitness will host training and competitions for swimming, water polo, springboard diving, synchronized swimming, underwater hockey, lifeguard training, fitness training and aquatic therapy. The Aquatic Champions & Fitness facility will provide access to all students regardless of school district, including charter, public, private, and home-schooled students. The facility will be large enough to host state level competition on the west side of the state. Currently the state sponsors swimming and diving meets for high school students only on the southeast side of the state. It's size will also enable the facility to host collegiate activities and competition. Scuba Divers of all levels will also be welcome to train and practice year around.
